Nutella and Tic Tac are two of the most iconic and loved brands in the Ferrero portfolio. In Asia Pacific, Nutella and Tic Tac have been the key growth driver for the categories as well as for the company.

The role is responsible for developing the strategies and support the execution of Nutella and Tic Tac brands in Asia Pacific. It covers the full brand scope with a high focus in driving the development of communication campaigns as well as portfolio and pricing strategies. It also covers the innovation portfolio for the brands which include Biscuits, Snacks and other Sugar confectionery brands.

Main Responsibilities:

MARKETING STRATEGY

  • Make recommendations to the Regional Marketing Manager on competitive positions and strategy for the product lines (specifying benefits, target consumer groups, pricing, etc.).
  • Contributes to define strategy and actions to maximize profitability
  • Define overall products positioning on Country Market in accordance with Central Category and Group Guidelines
  • Implement Ferrero marketing strategies, define initiatives and business development actions for the Area/Country
MARKET DEVELOPMENT
  • Identifies and plans appropriate activities to drive marketing mix elements, specifically communication and portfolio, to the goals achievement, monitoring related economic and business results in line with the central category management guidelines
  • Identifies market opportunities for new products/formats/initiatives, and works alongside Area on the assessment and commercialization, ensuring their integration within overall Country objectives
MARKETING PLAN
  • Provide strategic guidance and support on appropriate marketing plans for the local market in accordance with Central category and Group guidelines.
  • Monitors implementation of marketing activities and local campaigns.
  • Coordinates the definition of co-marketing actions with third parties to promote positioning and sales.
COMMUNICATION AND ADVERTISING STRATEGY
  • Define the communication strategy for the Region/Country in accordance with the Group guidelines and plan the proper implementation
  • Lead the development and implementation of all key communication assets alongside Cluster Marketing Team, leveraging local expertise fully.
  • Establish and conduct relations with creative, digital, media, promotion companies and other suppliers, keeping Central Category management informed about the actions.
PROMOTIONS/SPONSORSHIP
  • Monitor, execute and review Activity Grid
  • Ensure the execution of POSMs is in accordance with brand strategy and guidelines
PACKAGING AND PRODUCT DOCUMENTATION
  • Propose and share new projects intended to result in new formats and new packaging designs.
  • Supervise the implementation of the main projects while verifying that any stated guidelines are applied.
TEST AND BUDGET MANAGEMENT
  • Manage communication and products tests results in accordance with Ferrero group guidelines
  • Review the budget sales volumes of the product lines
  • Define and recommend to the Company Management team the budget for costs associated with the product lines (A&P), i.e. advertising, promotional costs, and costs associated with market research and analysis.
HR MANAGEMENT
  • Influences, motivates, coaches and develops Cluster Marketing Team
  • Contributes to the definition of the function\xe2\x80\x99s role, ways-of-working and organisation
Who we are looking for:
  • Min. Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Economics or Marketing
  • 12-15 years of experience in Marketing
  • Expertise in FMCG and Brand Marketing, with a strong emphasis on Strategic Marketing
  • Understanding of different markets and cultures
  • Must be comfortable in interacting with different stakeholders virtually and physically. Previous experience in similar matrix set-up is preferred.
  • Agile and capable of adapting and multi-tasking in a fast paced and continuously changing environment.
  • High sense of responsibility and proactivity i.e. anticipates problems and proposes solutions (entrepreneurial and commercial mindset)
  • Understanding of the Ferrero culture is preferred.
