Roles & Responsibilities
- Creating or visualising an idea and producing a design by hand or using computer-aided design (CAD)
- Keeping up to date with globally emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colours and shapes
- Design, research, source and plan collections for different seasons
- Understanding design from a technical perspective, i.e. producing patterns and technical specifications for designs
- Liaise with factory in China with regards to production and manufacturing
- Analyse Monthly Sales Data and Conduct Forecasting
- Manage Inventory and Logistics Planning
- Plan and Follow Merchandising Timeline
- Manage Product Margins, Pricing and Promotions to collaborate with Marketing Department on Campaigns
- Collaborate with other designers to coordinate special products and designs
