Job Summary:

As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Kaseiki counter, Sashimi and Sushi expert, controlling kitchen cost, ensuring safety and hygiene, and supervising the kitchen staff to achieve P&L targets. The role also involves overseeing the implementation of processes and guidelines in Kitchen Operations, ensuring quality menu delivery, and managing food cost and inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring all food is prepared in accordance with SOPs to maintain consistent food quality and overseeing kitchen cleanliness and sanitary conditions
• Leading the team, providing guidance, support, and motivation, conducting induction for new hires, and carrying out team management activities
• Training and developing kitchen and kaiten staff in the preparation of all meals to the highest quality standards while adhering to SOPs and workplace safety practices
• Supervising stations and ensuring adherence to defined cooking processes, recipe and health & safety standards
• Conducting a final check on the finished product to ensure that the food quality and presentation meet menu specifications
• Managing inventory levels and quality by placing orders for food and kitchen supplies based on store demand and ensuring quality upon delivery
• Overseeing the setting up and cleaning of stations and ensuring adherence to specified guidelines
• Investigating customer complaints pertaining to food quality and ensuring compliance with all safety procedures and guidelines
