JOB SUMMARY

Assist in the smooth running of Wan Hao Chinese Restaurant with a key role in building guests relations and ensuring guests\xe2\x80\x99 satisfaction.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Greet and seat guests as per SOP.

• Handle all guests\xe2\x80\x99 inquiries and follow up accordingly.
• Handle and manage all reservations ensuring information is recorded correctly and followed up accordingly.
• Responsible for guests\xe2\x80\x99 check control.
• To be aware of all Marriott Guests\' Incentive Programmes and ensure that the billing is carried out correctly.
• Maintain and upkeep the hostess stand.
• Maintain adequate supplies of clean and tidy menus.
• Maintain excellent inter-departmental relations and share the latest restaurant information with all departments concerned.
• Monitor the needs and special requirements of regular guests.
• To be fully aware and have knowledge of the restaurant\xe2\x80\x99s menus, prices, and other operation details at all times.
• Maintain guests\xe2\x80\x99 mailing list for the Restaurant.
• To actively solicit new guests in consultation with the Sales & Marketing team.
• Participate actively in all F&B promotions, and maintain updated details and information through constant communication with parties concerned.
• Follow the Hotel\xe2\x80\x99s established telephone etiquette.
• Attend daily restaurant briefing sessions.
• Work closely with the Sales and Marketing Department, and all F&B outlets in the Restaurant\xe2\x80\x99s promotion effort through the use of flyers, direct marketing, and mailing list.
• Comply with the Hotel\xe2\x80\x99s grooming and hygiene standards at all times.
• Assist to ensure a safe working environment and prepare repair orders when necessary.
• Assist to train and supervise other associates in the restaurant
• Use the Total Quality Management process as a way of improving standards and service for our guests and all internal customers.
• Any other duties may be assigned from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Good interpersonal skill
- Pleasant and friendly disposition
- Minimum GCE \'N\' Levels
- At least 1 year of relevant hostess experience or relevant F&B experience
