DESCRIPTION

FBA Operations team is seeking highly motivated Operations Analyst for FBA Operations. The successful Operations Analyst will be responsible for supporting FBA operations in Singapore by building strategic processes and leveraging existing products to be successful in the SG Fulfilment Network. This will be a diverse and highly visible role requiring a strong aptitude for building partnerships with and influencing a wide range of stakeholders at every level of the business. You will establish yourself as a Subject Matter Expert in a fast moving, ambiguous and high-pressure environment, relentlessly advocating for our sellers with partners who have multiple competing priorities.

Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities include:

  • Update, validate, and evaluate inventory forecasting models with the latest internal information to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Assist with investigation and root cause resolution for high impact FBA Merchant and Customer Issues.
  • Documenting SOPs and improving internal processes.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders including Supply and Operational Planning (S&OP), Sales, Seller Support, FC, Legal and PR to improve processes and reduce incoming escalation tickets.
  • Contribute to the standardization of FBA specific procedures and processes in Amazon\'s Fulfillment Center and for SPS.
  • Investigating metrics misses, identifying root cause and implementing fixes.
About the team
The FBA Operations team is a critical operational group that is responsible for success of our selling partners by providing innovative solutions for supply chain operations, processes, capacity management, inventory health and provides coaching to selling partners on defects, and manages escalations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be able to legally work in Singapore.
  • Bachelor\'s degree - preferably in Supply chain/business management.
  • 3+ years of experience in operations, retail and/or consulting, with a history of owning/ driving results.
  • Experience with Forecasting methods.
  • Experience with process improvement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of SQL queries.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Well versed in Excel (V/H-lookups, Index Match, Power Pivot, etc) and SQL.
  • Ability to prioritize work based on department and production objectives.
  • Look for and implement Continuous Improvement Opportunities.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a cross-functional capacity.
