Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on and motivated Field Application Engineer to support the deployment, tuning, and optimization of our AI-driven energy management systems.




You will play a key role in preparing and validating our next-generation NILM (Non-Intrusive Load Monitoring) edge controller, supporting field deployments and helping fine-tune AI energy analytics in real-world environments.

Key Responsibilities

Support system setup in lab and customer sites (HVAC energy management & NILM controller) Perform device calibration (power meters, sensors, controller) Conduct field data collection to assist NILM AI tuning Work with design engineer to develop and enhance the system Support system integration testing and pre-shipment validation Assist in on-site tuning for pilot sites and first market rollouts Troubleshoot field issues and collaborate with engineering team for continuous improvement Maintain detailed deployment and tuning records Support customer teams (e.g. HVAC partners, SME site users) during first installations and tuning cycles

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, IoT Systems, or related fields Hands-on experience with IoT systems, smart devices, or embedded systems is an advantage Familiar with basic networking and field protocols (MQTT, Modbus TCP) is a strong plus Comfortable with field work -- able to perform on-site system setup & tuning Good understanding of power and energy monitoring systems is an advantage Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Good communication -- able to work with internal engineers & external partners Fresh graduates with strong hands-on skills and willingness to learn are welcome to apply

You will work closely with our System Architect and Embedded Systems Engineer. As you gain experience in energy systems deployment & tuning, you will have the opportunity to grow into a Technical Field Lead role, supporting wider regional rollouts and advanced tuning of AI energy systems.
