Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Application Engineering Consultant to join our Calibre Foundry/SEMI Manufacturing Solutions team. As a key member of our high-performing Application Engineering Team, you will play a crucial role in advancing our Calibre-based RET/OPC and Mask solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Subject Matter Expertise:

Serve as a subject matter expert in Computational Lithography, establishing a "trusted advisor" relationship with leading customers and partners.

Software Development:

Collaborate with the product team to develop software prototypes addressing computational lithography and advanced mask challenges using Python/TCL, Calibre API, and the Calibre DRC/OPC Platform.

Technical Presentations and Training:

Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions on Calibre OPC/MPC Platforms.

Customer Engagement and Support:

Drive the adoption, proliferation, and successful production deployment of Calibre products from design through mask production. Provide support to our leading-node customers in US and Europe.

Engage with Cutting-Edge Technology:

Work with advanced technology nodes.

Innovate and Implement:

Test, customize, and deploy new features in collaboration with the product team.

Showcase Value:

Demonstrate our product's capabilities and contribute to sales initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education:

PhD in Physics, Applied Physics, Applied Math, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with over 10 years of relevant industry experience. Alternatively, a Master's degree with over 15 years of industry experience is preferred.

Experience:

Experience in simulation, software prototyping, software development, and machine learning is desired.

Programming Skills:

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Python, TCL, or C/C++ is desired.

Analytical Skills:

Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and a self-motivated curiosity about AI and advanced semiconductor manufacturing are required. Knowledge of photolithography, including optics, resist modeling, mask synthesis, mask and wafer metrology and inspection is a plus.

Communication Skills:

Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills are essential, as this role involves direct interaction with customers. *
