What success looks like in this role: Summary:Provides support at customer Data Center (DC). Required around 3 times per month shift work as follows:

• Standard Daily Shift: (SGT) 9:00 AM \xe2\x80\x93 6:00 PM (Mon-Fri)

• 3x Per Month (with 1 week advanced notice): (SGT) 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM

1. Cover end-to-end inbound/outbound device shipments.2. Rack & stack the devices and power up, as per instructions given by customer.3. Coordinate with DC team for logistics requirements like trolley, manpower & movement of devices etc. from DC & customer store.4. Manage device cross-connect/inventory/elevation lists.5. Maintain inventory of customer stores.6. Perform onsite coordination for any troubleshooting and/or replacement requirements.7. Work with customer team on cabling, racking & space allocation work.8. New hardware validation, inspection & installation, as per instructions given by customer.9. Provide customer caged area escort support.10. Report any incidents related to environmental controls like Power & Cooling etc. and report any potential risks in the environment.11. Respond to caged area operational issues including customer alarms, Colo vendor alarms, Weather Advisories, Emergency Conditions etc.12. Coordinate & supervise cabling work.13. Support onsite requirements of future growth projects.14. Other activities as appropriate typical to a Field Engineer 2.#LI-AP2You will be successful in this role if you have:

• Requires Degree or Diploma and minimum 3-6 years of hands-on technical experience

• Specific Manufacturers certifications will be added advantage. CCNA, MCSE, COMPTIA certifications, VMware, Redhat, etc.

• Knowledge of client specific internal procedures and service delivery requirements.

• Advanced troubleshooting capabilities on software and hardware problems including server, storage, network devices and interconnectivity problems
