Job Description
Our Client:
Our client is one of the top Japanese companies, specialising in Automation Equipment and Systems. They are looking for a Field Service Engineer/ Associate Engineer to join their Singapore office.The Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and calibrate AMHS equipment in the initial phase of a project
- Carry out regular inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance after the project\'s initial phase
- Perform troubleshooting and recovery tasks to minimize the downtime of AMHS
- Liaise with customers to arrange schedules for jobs and update customers on work progress
- Supervise work done by sub-contractors for installation and mechanical modifications
- Minimum ITE Diploma in Engineering-related discipline
- Ability to diagnose technical problems arising from mechanical equipment is an added advantage; On-the-job training provided for those with no experience
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and at heights
- Ability to grasp current work situation and plan to keep pace with the schedule
- Some experience with AMHS equipment is a huge plus
- Good team player with a positive work attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt
- Possesses good communication skills and teamwork
- Able to manage duties and work under stress during busy periods without constant supervision
- Open to overtime working hours (within the regulation) and scheduled standby duties for some days in a month
