As Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing ultrasound devices and system components (i.e., PCBA, etc). You will work with a cross-functional team to identify root causes, perform detailed electronics repair, and maintain full compliance with medical device quality standards.





Key Responsibilities





Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair ultrasound medical equipment Complete service reports, maintenance logs, and regulatory documentation with high accuracy. Communicate effectively with customers, manage service expectations, and escalate unresolved issues appropriately. Perform workshop maintenance tasks and ensure adherence to 5S and GDPMDS compliance standards in all repair areas. Carry out other tasks and ad-hoc assignments as delegated by supervisors to support operational needs.


Requirements:


ITE/Higher NITEC/Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or a related field
- - Previous experience in service or maintenance roles is preferred


A valid Class 3 driving license and personal vehicle are advantageous Demonstrate a positive, proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask Steady hands and keen eyes to handle delicate components Require critical thinking and problem-solving skills * Good with Microsoft Office
