Key Responsibilities
Conduct site surveys, hardware installation, and commissioning of IP cameras and network devices
Perform regular preventive maintenance of installed equipment and ensure uptime
Troubleshoot connectivity or hardware issues (e.g., camera faults, NVR/storage issues, network drops)
Coordinate with the technical support and software teams to validate system functionality
Maintain detailed reports of issues, repairs, and customer feedback
Support system upgrades, firmware updates, and configuration changes as required
Educate site stakeholders (e.g., EHS, IT teams) on system handling and basic troubleshooting
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and client protocols
Requirements
Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or related fields
1-3 years of experience in field service or hardware maintenance (fresh grads welcome if hands-on)
Familiarity with IP camera systems, NVRs, basic networking, and power tools
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Willing to travel to job sites and work in industrial environments (PPE provided)
Good documentation and communication skills
Bonus: Experience with industrial clients or safety-related systems
