Our Singapore Branch is instrumental in providing support to the Group strategy and platform; leveraging on existing operational set up to enhance services to international clients in their investments and trade.
Key Tasks and responsibilities
Support the Accounting team in preparing journal entries to be uploaded into the accounting system. Prepare accounting reports to be presented to senior management. Support the processing of invoices, monitor discrepancies, reconcile payments. Assist in the preparation for reporting to Head Office, regulatory reporting, and tax returns. Develop, fill, and maintain a monitoring platform for P&L and BS items. Support in the budgeting and forecasting processes. Provide variance analysis and explanations of trends.
Qualifications and Competencies
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance Expertise in numbers and knowledge of the basic principles and practices of accounting Proficiency in both written and spoken English. Integrity and professional ethics Good self-initiative, agility, and eagerness to work and learn in a multi-cultural environment. Excellent communication, analytical and teamwork skills
Internship Duration:
Open to candidates who can commit on a part time basis (at least 2-3 days a week) To be able to commit a minimum of 6 months internship.
