Finance Analyst (1 Year Contract)

Job Description
Summary: This Finance Analyst is a 1-year contract (maternity cover) role where he or she will work with the finance/offshore shared service team members to ensure that functions in the Accounting, General Ledger, Budget and Forecast are well-executed. Responsibilities:
- Handle month-end closing process to ensure timely submission of accurate financial reports such as P&L reports, DIVA JGAAP/IFRS submission reports
- Provide insightful analysis of business financial performance in P&L and balance sheets
- identify key performers in financial data
- Perform GL functions such as balance sheet reconciliations, fluctuation analysis, clearing of aged balance
- Prepare and submit pre-audit requests as determined by internal and external auditor
- Assist in monthly forecast and annual budget exercise
- Support monthly GST review
- Other ad-hoc duties
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting
- Minimum 5 years of working experience, 2-3 years in external audit and 2-3 years in management reporting and GL accounting
- Experience in IT and project-oriented industry (POC revenue recognition) prefered
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SAP
