Responsible for Financial Planning & AnalysisMonthly ReportingCollaborate with GL team to ensure reporting integrityPrepare analysis of financial results and business performanceResponsible for write-up and variance analysis of Finance section of Flash reportingPrepare monthly P&L / Opex dashboardRegular business partnering with Head of Departments or Terminal Managers for profit maximizationLatest Estimates [LE] & Budget (Annual)Act as a Key User for Vena SolutionsDrive Budget or LE process across the organizationPrepare and update LE / Budget templates in Vena solutionCoordinate LE /Budget input with terminals and functionsConsolidate and prepare variance analysis for different comparablesResponsible for preparation of presentation or Budget Book write-upResolve any related issues that affects accuracy and timeliness of LE or BudgetProject AssignmentSupport strategic review for medium or long term value creation projectSupport or lead projects for profit maximizationData request or analysisResponsible for Tax ReportingStatutory TaxLead and coordinate annual tax filingsMain liaison with Tax Consultant (PWC)Prepare tax organizer and ECIResponsible for compliance and governance to local tax requirementsSupport effort or initiative to optimize tax positionResolve any related issues that affects accuracy and timeliness of Statutory AuditTax AccountingResponsible for estimates of tax provision and deferred tax position for month end closing and statutory auditResponsible for reconciliation of relevant Balance Sheet Accounts for TaxesResponsible for year end Tagetik tax schedulesResponsible for Investment IncentivesResponsible to seek investment investment opportunities from EDB or IRASResponsible to track, manage and report progress of investment incentives to EDB or IRASResponsible for claims submission and audit supportTo be the Lead for Capex process and Controls.To lead the controls and systems Capex spending.To review and ensure that all PTB approval for spend are properly approved.Coordinate and drive approvals from Senior Management for all append, especially for deviation and contingenciesSupport coordination with Capex team to ensure that spend is on track and reported accuratelyResponsible for continuous process improvementsResponsible to seek continuous improvement in particular to optimize the usage of data, technology, automationSupport or lead Finance Literacy effort for continuous learning for the organizationJob skills:Proven strong analytical skills and conceptual capabilitiesIn-depth understanding of financial reporting and financial management conceptsStrong communication and interpersonal skills are required for dealing with a cross functional teamSelf-Driven with can improve attitudeAble to plan, organize, set priorities and deliverProblem solving and process improvement abilitiesERP or system knowledge in Oracle and Tagetik (reporting software)Expertise in IFRS and local statutory requirements are preferredExperience & EducationAt least 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting or analyticsDegree in Finance, Accountancy or Business or professional qualification in Accountancy
