The operation is primarily conducted out of Copenhagen, Singapore, and Mumbai.We are looking for a Finance Business Partner based in Singapore to join our global Business Finance team for Vessel Operations, which partners with the organization responsible for ensuring our fleet sails in a safe, reliable, energy efficient and cost-effective manner.In this role, your mission is to drive strong performance management, provide financial analysis and recommendations, shape business decisions and be proudly recognised for your high engagement and energy you bring in optimizing processes. You will work with our four fleet groups, based in Singapore and Mumbai. You will also be expected to drive improvement initiatives which will bring further data transparency, automation and will enable stronger data-driven decision making.Key tasks:Have a strong presence across both locations and provide financial insights to co-drive performance with operational colleagues.Support business decisions through data-driven insights into both financial and operational performance, with recommended actions.Be a sparring partner who challenges assumptions, providing forward looking, independently initiated analysis which highlights risks and opportunities.Drive cost saving initiatives through constructive and continuous follow up with relevant stakeholders.Coordinate rolling forecast process, ensuring that both short and long-term strategic priorities are accommodated.Prepare periodic management reporting, including variance analysis, explanations, and related proposed actions.Support month and year-end closing processes, including monthly performance review processes.Drive process efficiencies and finance digital transformation through development of BI tools.Develop and strengthen financial models to provide strong insights and support decision making.Provide visibility to management on progression against strategic initiatives.Take the lead to implement process improvements which you will identify through data analysis and feedback from stakeholders.Deliver insights and recommendations relating to fleet group performance vs. benchmarks.Manage and ensure all necessary processes and controls are in place to ensure compliance.Contribute to identifying and bringing synergies across the fleet groups, including execution of agreed actions.Who we are looking for:The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree in Finance or Economics, combined with 5+ years of relevant work experience in finance positions.You:Are a passionate, self-starting and goal-oriented finance business partner.Communicate clearly and engage confidently with leaders at all levels.Possess excellent analytical & problem-solving skills.Have knowledge in developing and strengthening financial models.Have an eager to challenge the status quo and identify areas for improvement.Are comfortable with driving change through project management skills.Are well organised and able to prioritise effectively.Are strong in the details but comfortable in explaining key messages in simple terms.Have a flair for building relationships and can exert influence without authority.Possess a strong natural drive for results and excellent stakeholder management skills.Are known for your curiosity and level of energy you bringHave expertise in the use of Excel & PowerPoint.
