Our client is a well-established manufacturer and distributor of premium beer and beverage brands in Asia, and has presence all around the world. The company offers a wide range of products, including craft beers, ciders, and non-alcoholic beverages, catering to the diverse preferences of consumers in the country. Our client belongs to a wider organization that produces not only spirits and non-alcoholic beverages, but also consumables that you can find in global supermarkets, and continue to expand their business operations in the FMCG space by setting up their first local office within Singapore.

Now, they are looking to solidify their local finance team in Singapore and are looking to hire a new Finance Controller based here in Singapore, and implement the right finance strategy and tighten the finance processes locally to drive efficiency within the organization.

Description

• Hands-on involvement in the consolidation of 5-7 business entities
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance for the organization
• Manage financial controls and review reports regularly
• Analyze budget trends and variances for reporting to executives
• Support external auditors with documentation and information
• Prepare taxes or work with external tax professionals
• Provide accurate financial information to executive management
• Work with the regional teams for financial reporting
• Prepare ad hoc reports and conduct analysis for management as needed

Profile

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in the FMCG/Beverage industry
• Strong understanding of Accounting and Consolidated Financial Reporting
• Experience with group accounts consolidation
• Familiarity with ERP (SAP) and consolidation software
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Advanced data management and analytical skills
• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities
• Highly detail-oriented, logical, and mature
• Positive attitude, team player, hands-on, trustworthy, and reliable.
