CRITERIONS

• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Manage and comply with local, government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Additional controller duties as necessary

COMPETENCIES

• BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
• At least 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in the finance industry
• Preferably have experience to walk through the listing of a company / IPO process before
• In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
• Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the executive presence to work with senior management, investors and external stakeholders.
• An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. Xero)
• Strong sense of work commitment and responsibility.
• CPA/ CA is a strong advantage
• Able to communicate in Chinese language to coordinate and handle queries from Chinese speaking counterparts in regards with the development of market content matters
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
• Ability to work independently and a high performance-orientation
• Able to work under pressure and meeting deadlines

CREDENTIALS

• Proven Grade A Employee

• Tertiary certificate (preferred), welcome aspirers who have strong experience and track record with no tertiary certificate
