We are seeking an accomplished Financial Controller to lead financial reporting, compliance, and control functions for a growing technology-driven organisation. This is a key finance leadership position, responsible for driving accuracy, transparency, and operational excellence across all accounting and reporting activities.
As a senior member of the finance leadership team, you will oversee end-to-end financial operations, ensuring integrity in reporting and compliance with international accounting standards. You'll also provide strategic financial insights to support growth, efficiency, and informed business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all general accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS or US GAAP standards.
• Oversee the external audit process and ensure smooth coordination with auditors.
• Drive budgeting and forecasting processes to support business planning.
• Perform variance and performance analysis, providing actionable insights to leadership teams.
• Develop financial models and projections to guide strategic decisions and optimise cash flow.
• Partner with functional heads to manage costs, identify efficiencies, and support business growth.
• Ensure full compliance with tax, audit, and statutory reporting obligations.
• Strengthen internal control frameworks and accounting policies to safeguard assets and minimise financial risk.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital efficiency.

Role requirements

• Minimum Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or CIMA highly preferred.
• At least 8 years of Finance and Accounting experience in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of SaaS business models, recurring revenue, and financial metrics common to the technology sector.
• Proven track record in financial management, compliance, and operational improvement.
