Finance Director, Apac (engineering Automation)
Job Description
The CompanyOur client is a market leader in the industrial automation sector with an established presence globally. As they continue with their expansion plans in Asia, they are seeking a Finance Director for APAC & India.The RoleReporting to the Global CFO, you lead a team both locally and remotely and be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of finance and accounting activities including financial accounting, reporting, budget, forecast, cash flow management, internal controls and liaising with tax agents and external auditors.This is highly visible role within the APAC leadership team and you will partner closely with the APAC President in support of business growth and initiatives for the region, assessing and identifying areas of risk and opportunities for the business. You will also take the lead in driving process efficiency and improvement projects within finance.Your ProfileAs a successful candidate, you will possess a degree in accounting or ACCA with the following relevant experience:
- At least 15 years of experience in a full spectrum finance and accounting role, of which minimum 5 years in a leadership capacity
- Proven regional exposure within the industrial and/or process automation sector
- Experience in business partnering with the senior leadership team
- Ability to travel about 25% across the region
- Prior exposure in a Big 4 external audit firm
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
