Our client, a well-known MNC is currently looking for a Finance Executive (Korean Speaking).Responsibilities:

• Responsible for full set month end/quarterly and year end closing activities
• Involve with financial data migration from external sources to in house accounting
• Assist in setting up and maintain finance related processes, policies and ensure compliancewith internal controls
• Prepare monthly and quarterly report and group consolidation reports for each entity
• Prepare and review relevant schedules for Cash Flow reconciliation
• Resolve any related issues that affects accuracy and timelines of General Ledger and Financial Reporting
• Liaise with client receivables, auditors, bankers, and other applicable external parties
• Collaborate with HQ finance team to ensure reporting integrity
• Other ad hoc matters
• Statutory Reporting: Responsible for statutory reporting preparation
• Main liaison with headquarter finance team related to audit
• Resolve any related issues that affects accuracy and timeliness of Statutory Audit
• Main liaison with auditors and responsible for audit adjustments
• Resolve any related issues that affects accuracy and timeliness of Statutory Audit
• Government Surveys: Completion of government surveys as and when is required
• Control & Governance: Responsible for activities reporting to Control & Governance
• Cashflow management fortnightly and yearly
• Support treasury lead with controls and process to ensure uphold of financial transparency
• Control: Maintains treasury controls by preparing and recommending/implementation of policies and procedures

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accountancy or Business or professional qualification in Accountancy
• Able to handle multiple entities with collaborate with the team members
• In-depth understanding of financial reporting, financial management and taxation concepts
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required for dealing with a cross functional team
• Knowledge in Oracle & QuickBooks would be advantageous
• Korean language proficiency to liaise with Korean clients
