Job Description

• Month end management account preparation and submission into Head Office (covering areas such as accruals, prepayments, lease accounting and fixed assets).
• Preparation and submission of all direct and indirect taxes applicable to the business such as GST and corporate income tax.
• Oversight of year end audit and annual financial statements.
• Prepare annual overhead budget.
• Liaising with banks to provide financial information and be first point of contact for any follow up questions.
• Onboard the entity onto Group systems, such as AR/AP.
• Help support in the design and implementation of new processes and procedures to ensure the most efficient practices are being utilised.
• Provide ad-hoc support to the regional Head of Finance. Regional Asia tasks & responsibilities:
• Support in establishing a regional treasury function to meet payment processing demands.
• Support in onboarding systems regionally to align processes with Group requirements.
• Assist in the production of monthly regional reporting packs to be distributed globally.
• Liaise with regional Accountants to ensure continued smooth running of daily operations

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Appreciation of the long-term nature of our business and ability to develop relationships and personal skills accordingly.
• Ability to display initiative and flexibility in approach to work, be self-motivated and have a confident manner and ambitious outlook.
• To have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• To have strong IT skills and be proficient in Excel and Word.
