About the roleWe are looking for a Finance Intern to join the Finance team in our Singapore office for a period of up to 6 months to support the growing business.What we offer:

• An opportunity to acquire insights into the workings of a Finance department in a non-bank Financial Institution & test your finance skills in real-life situations
• A chance to sharpen your analytical and interpersonal skills
• Accounts payable: check and verify vendors invoices and staff expense claims prior to processing them for payment
• Accounts receivable: prepare invoices and track the invoices\xe2\x80\x99 status till payment is received
• General ledger: support in the month-end closing duties and review the first draft of the financials post-closing
• Liaise with the outsourced book-keeping company to ensure smooth financial closing process
• Assist with the year-end financial audit requests
• Assist with GST and Corporate Tax returns
• Ad-hoc tasks assigned

What you offer:

• Penultimate year student majoring in Accounting
• Self-motivated individual who is committed to high standard of deliverables with strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Available from August 2024 (minimum full-time commitment of 4 months)
• Good grasp of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
