The intern will be guided on accounting related processes and will assist with the below tasks: * Assist with the processing and claiming of government grant claims

• Communicate with outsourced vendor, internal departments and AIC to gather documents and information
• Enter claims data into government database and maintain accurate and up-to-date internal records
• Resolve claims discrepancies

• Perform daily banking matters
• Perform collection activities such as donation and counting of donation box
• Perform reconciliation activities such as report and system
• Assist in staff claim or payment related matters
• Assist in Year-End closing
• Assist in audit related matters
• Filing and digitization related Financial documents

Learning Objectives:

• Exposure to financial, accounting, budgeting practices in charities
• Hands-on application of finance/accounting principles
• Exposure to different reports used in finance department ops
• Exposure in an organisation that is in the healthcare industry and also part of the social service sector.

Job Requirements:

• Comfortable with the accounting-centric internship
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to problem solve and multitask
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel
• Interest in social service sector
