MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(A) SPECIFIC (80%)

• Assist the accounts payment function, i.e input invoices and payments (cheques, GIRO, telegraphic transfers) to suppliers
• Assist in accounts collection function, i.e match and knock out debtor collections (cheques, GIRO, telegraphic transfers) against customer accounts
• Assist in inter-company trade payable accounts / balance reconciliations
• Assist in monthly / quarterly accounts closing activities
• Assist in supplier, GST and bank reconciliation
• Assist with year-end statutory audit, eg preparation of audit schedules for auditors
• Annual stock-taking activities
• Collection and sending of mails
• Routine filing of office documents

(B) GENERAL (20%)

• Projects as assigned by immediate supervisor
