Job Description

Summary: Responsible for coordinating and controlling the full range of FP&A and accounting functions for Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei. Plans, organizes and directs timely and accurate preparation of financial and regulatory reports for management, regulators and / or other external constituencies such as reports on earnings, profits, cash balances, taxation and other financial matters.

Job Scope:

• Works proactively with country manager to manage day-to-day finance tasks and operations; delivers actionable analysis and insight for decision making and value creation.
• Performs forward-looking ad-hoc analysis, such as project and strategy evaluation, benchmarking, price/volume mix, scenario analysis, etc. Actively contributes to enhancing analytical methodology.
• Works closely with country manager to prepare, attend, minute, and track follow up items regarding performance and strategy meetings. Takes initiative to bring relevant financial issues to the attention of his/her relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Manager to oversee inventory management function through business and external logistics vendors. Safeguard financial risk and exposure through the active management of demand planning, forecasting and consignment inventory levels and expiry status.
• Initiates and leads various cross function, divisional, and country finance improvement projects to realize lean and efficient reporting, scenario analysis, financial planning processes, business cases, and continuous process improvements.
• Understands systems and tools. Ensures quality, accuracy, and integrity of information produced and stored in AV systems.
• Provides guidance to financial and non-financial stakeholders on FP&A-related matters; also provides formal and informal training related to finance processes, systems, tools, and reports.
• Contributes to the development and monitoring of budget through regular analysis and active control of cost and spending.
• Ensure compliance with local and company\'s policies and procedures. Provides training and guidance to internal and external stakeholders on compliance requirements.
• Owns all audit outcomes and drives the relevant people responsible in the organization to close out corrective actions and maintain high level of audit compliance.
• Provides ad hoc support and solutions to meet local and HQ business decision making, planning and reporting requirements
• Motivate and develop staff (if applicable).

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor\'s Degree/Diploma in Finance/Accounting or professional accounting qualification
• Knowledge of local country regulations and Financial Policies and Procedures
• Understanding Planning and Reporting processes
• Good spoken and written
• Hands-on with systems and tools, eg. SAP, Hyperion, Excel, Powerpoint
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in finance/accounting at a senior level with evident success.
• Experience in leading a team of finance professionals
• Experience gained in multinational medical device companies is good to have

Additional Information:

• Salary - Open for negotiation, 1-month completion bonus
• Contract duration: 12-month contract, Renewable and Convertible
• Commencement Date: Immediate
• Working days and hours: Mon to Friday, 9am to 6pm
• Location: Bugis, DUO Tower
