Description
- Manage the periodic closing including perform balance sheet, cash flow, variance and income statement analyses and forecasts.
- Lead in the generation, preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual management and Board reporting statements/packages.
- Manage employees and outsourced contractors who are responsible for financial reporting and processing.
- Manages various areas of the budget and forecasting process.
- Lead in finance system enhancements / implementations to align with new statutory or operational requirements.
- Improve methodology for financial analysis techniques and financial reports.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and develop streamlined processes that help improve team efficiency.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required by senior management.
- Qualified Accountant with Degree in Accountancy or ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years\' experience in similar capacity
- Good working knowledge of hospital operations is preferred
- Proficient in management / statutory reporting and analysis
- Proficient with Microsoft office applications, SAP / Hyperion preferred
- Experience in developing and implementing processes, procedures, systems and or standards
- Ability to work independently and proactively resolve problems within established parameters
- Strong leadership with excellent communication and people management skills
