We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead entity-level financial reporting, compliance, and controls across multiple trading operations. This is a team-lead position based in Singapore, with responsibility for managing a regional accounting and controlling team while working closely with global finance leadership.
This role will be accountable for ensuring financial compliance with both group and local requirements, delivering accurate reporting, and strengthening controls across trading entities. You will oversee statutory reporting, liaise with auditors, and provide financial insights to both local management and global headquarters.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly and quarterly close of entities within scope, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee preparation of statutory accounts and external financial reporting under harmonised frameworks.
• Review, reconcile, and explain trading P&L versus accounting results.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory filings, including direct and indirect tax submissions.
• Manage and develop a high-performing regional accounting and controlling team based in Singapore.
• Implement and monitor internal controls across closing activities.
• Act as the regional finance contact for external auditors and support audit processes.
• Partner with group finance teams on process improvements and system harmonisation.
• Oversee cost allocation processes and provide financial support across business functions.
• Drive participation in global and regional finance projects as required.

Role requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; professional qualification (CPA/ACCA/ACA) strongly preferred.
• 8-12 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
• Solid knowledge of accounting, reporting, and compliance in a multinational environment.
• Prior exposure to trading, commodities, or related industries will be an advantage.
• Strong technical expertise combined with excellent communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a regional finance team.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of influencing across multiple stakeholders
