Responsibilities:
Leads a team of accountants and finance executives in fulfilling daily functions of the Project Control team within Finance Department
Project accounting for the ongoing and completed projects
Reconciliation of projects related GL accounts for monthly and yearly closing
Variance analysis of project related GL accounts for monthly and yearly closing management & statutory reporting
Supervises and reviews project financials, cashflow and management reporting
Leads in quarterly forecasts and annual budgets relating to projects and oversee the preparation, monitoring and management of budgets and forecast
Business partners with commercial units on finance related matters for the ongoing and completed projects
Reviews corporate finance processes/policies surrounding projects to ensure proper internal control
Proposes and initiates improvement to work processes to enhance efficiency
Manages internal and external audit activities and risk management
Leads and mentors team members to achieve high performance and continuous improvement
Requirements:
Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in the engineering, construction, oil and gas or energy industry
Strong proficiency in Financial Reporting Standards, particularly on projecting accounting and SAP financial knowledge
Experience in Big 4 Auditing firm would be a strong advantage
Meticulous, detailed, self-motivated and responsible individual who can meet tight reporting deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
