Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- In charge of full spectrum of finance and accounting functions including timely closure of monthly accounts, statutory reporting, corporate secretarial matters and tax submissions; ensuring compliance with local as well as U.S. GAAP requirements.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly expected financial performance for site
- Analyze and interpret site performance for decision making and propose improvement
- Direct and control the budgeting and financial planning process.
- Maintain appropriate internal controls in compliance with Emerson CP&P
- Act as Checkpoint champion ensuring that businesses are conducted in accordance to Emerson code of conduct for ethics, trade compliance etc.
- Oversee office administrative matters
- Supervise and provide leadership and development for the finance team and provide financial leadership to the site management team
- Degree in Accounting or equivalent with 5-10 years’ experience preferably in Audit / MNC
- Sound understanding of the Singapore legal, financial environment and evolution of its business drivers.
- Working experience with SAP & Hyperion is an advantage
- Well equilibrated and flexible personality, strong ability to manage change.
- Capable of working under stress and high performance / expectations pressure.
