Responsibilities:
As part of Consumer Finance SG Group, the role is to support the Singtel Dash business on all financial related matters which includes reporting; financial operations and business partnering responsibilities.

• Responsible for the daily accounting operations including cash reconciliations of customers’monies, financial/management reporting and timely month end closing of Singcash Pte Ltd
• Review and prepare, if necessary, full set of accounts, reporting packages and financial statements. Generate reports and analysis to assist in decision making
• Lead year-end audits, GST reporting and other tax matters and ensure compliance with relevant rules and regulation for Singcash Pte Ltd.
• Prepare monthly MAS PSN04 returns and ensure compliance with relevant MAS notices for both existing and new products
• Support FP&A activities during budgeting and forecasting cycles as well as management reporting processes
• Review business cases and business partner with internal stakeholders to provide input from a finance perspective
• Participate in projects relating to new product launches from providing business requirements to UAT ensuring the right accounting treatment and reports are available before go live.
• Play a key role in overseeing and guiding outsourced shared service finance team and internal stakeholders on month end closing, accuracy of system data and any accounting related matters
• Look into strengthening internal controls and process improvements, identify potential areas of risk exposure and work with business team to implement risk mitigation measures.
• Any other duties and projects assigned by Finance Director and CFO.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or its equivalent
• 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience.
• Prior experience in an international audit firm will be advantageous
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
• Strong business sense with good financial analysis and modelling skills
• Possess in depth understanding of accounting principles and company procedures
• Systematic and logical thinking to deep dive into organisational processes
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong logical and analytical thinking skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• A strong team player and yet able to work independently. Willing to be hands on with an inquisitive mindset
• Good problem solving and decision making skills for unstructured situational issues
• Highly self motivated with a positive attitude
