Experience gained with a SGX listed OR a real estate company is essential
Prior system implementation experiences advantageous
Our client is a SGX listed group which is well established in the real estate industry. Its global HQ is in Singapore and the office is based in town.
For this role, you will manage 2 to 3 staff and perform the following functions:
Work with internal departments and overseas finance team on monthly financial closing and payment
Review of annual statutory accounts and XBRL filing
Review of accounting transactions and controls in accordance with the limit of authority
Coordination of quarterly reforecast and full year forecast for portfolio of companies
Prepare annual budget for portfolio of companies, and present it to the management
Review monthly cashflow forecast
Review quarterly GST submission
Work with the corporate tax department to ensure tax compliance timelines are adhered to and CITQ are addressed
Liaise with auditors, tax agents and external service provider
Develop and coach a team of 2-3, and work effectively within the finance department and across different Business Units
Work with team members to deliver enhancements to the accounting systems
Evaluate finance automation options for the department and implement with the assistance of consultants
Continuous improvement on work processes, internal controls and other business drivers
Prepare and/or review meeting minutes
Requirements
Bachelor of Accountancy or relevant accounting qualification, including ISCA, ACCA, CPA, etc
Minimum 7 years relevant experience in auditing and/or accounting role and at least 1 year in managerial capacity
Experience gained with a SGX listed OR a real estate company is essential
Prior system implementation experiences advantageous
Proactive, independent with good attention to detail
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Able to engage with team members and other internal and external stakeholders
Strong oral and written communication skills
