What the role is:ISD confronts and addresses threats to Singapore\'s internal security and stability. For over 75 years, ISD and its predecessor organisations have played a central role in countering threats such as those posed by foreign subversive elements, spies, racial and religious extremists, and terrorists. We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our Finance team to manage and administer Finance services for our organisation as well as to spearhead service excellence and innovation. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of officers to review and streamline business processes as well as leverage on advanced technologies to automate financial transactions and drive continuous improvement.What you will be working on:- Management of Accounts Payable: process payments & journals in timely and accurate manner in compliance with relevant financial and accounting policies and procedures - General ledger reporting and reconciliation: prepare month-end and year-end reporting as required, including analysis of payment data - Review of financial processes and procedures by leveraging on digital tools and data to drive process transformation (i.e. streamlining and digitalising of finance processes), to improve efficiency gains from automation and provide insights for policy-making and financial analysis - Involvement with on-going financial system implementation and enhancement projects spearheaded by the Division; and - Collaboration with IT to maintain/enhance in-house or Whole-of-Government systemsWhat we are looking for:- Minimum Qualification: Diploma Holder in relevant discipline such as Accounting/Finance/Business - In lieu of relevant qualifications, relevant work experience with equivalent competencies would be preferred - Knowledge of NFS@Gov system and data analytics tool is advantageous - Possess good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills - Able to work both independently and as a team player - Applicants with no experience are welcome to apply - Only Singaporeans are welcome to apply We wish to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notifiedAbout MHA - Internal Security Department (ISD):The Internal Security Department (ISD) confronts and addresses threats to Singapore\'s internal security and stability.
