Job Description
Our Client:
We are representing a prominent European multinational company, the global leader in coating manufacturing. With a strong presence worldwide, our client is actively seeking a dynamic Finance Officer to join their team in Singapore.
The Responsibilities:
- Oversee Costing, Fixed Assets Management, Inventory Control, and Gross Margin Analysis for an overseas legal entity, managing financial accounting, reporting, tax, and budget matters
- Conduct product costing, cost analysis, and month-end closing activities
- Handle year-end tasks, including inventory stock take, updating SAP activity rates, budgeting, and coordinating statutory financial statement audits
- Prepare cost-related documents and liaise with Customs on Free Trade Agreement matters
- Conduct product cost simulations and provide cost information for decision-making
- Safeguard company assets, optimize inventory levels, and review Sales and Margin monthly
- Enhance freight cost reporting and participate in Continuous Improvement Programs
- Undertake ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned
- Diploma/ Degree in Accountancy
- 3-5 years of Costing experience in Manufacturing
- Preferably familiar with SAP or equivalent ERP system & MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
- A team player and with good communication skills
