Summary
The objectives of this role are:

• Assisting the Finance Manager in performing duties related to finance and treasury
• Preparing, verifying and executing timely and accurate payment runs
• Liaising with suppliers and banks regarding payment queries
• Creating management reports to support the treasury function.
• Adhere to internal controls and guidelines, safeguarding corporate assets

What you\'ll do

• Prepare daily payment runs/instructions for multiple countries
• Execute special payment requests for operational purposes
• Process cheque requests (invoice check, obtaining signatures, distribution)
• Liaise with Suppliers and Banks regarding payment queries
• Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
• Daily bank statement upload to accounting and treasury systems
• Bank posting and reconciliation
• Financial reporting and cash-flow management
• Input foreign exchange hedging requests into the treasury system
• Assist in month end closure tasks
• Ad-hoc finance and treasury tasks

What you\'ll need

• Minimum Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field of study, CPA/ACCA would be a plus
• Minimum 2 years work experience in a related function
• Experience in performing a similar function in the banking/supply chain/FMCG industry
• Strong analytical mind
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently, with a keen eye for details
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese to liaise with English and/or Chinese speaking only stakeholders
• Good interpersonal and communications skills
• Experience in SAP financial accounting software is an advantage
