The Talent
Bachelor's degree
Basic understanding of accounting and financial reporting metrics
Experienced in project management, stakeholder management, strategy and planning
Experience with large scale financial reporting projects in the financial services sector is highly preferred
Strong analytical mind, problem-solving and coordination skills to identify issues and achieve timely resolution
Excellent communication skills and confident in steering group discussions
Self-driven and highly motivated individual who can work well in a startup VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) environment
Knowledge of banking activities (including banking operations and MAS regulatory requirements) will be an advantage
Knowledge of SQL, database and data types will be an advantage
Experience in data migration projects will be an advantage
Key responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end project delivery across highly complex and inter-dependent workstreams, including tracking of progress, mapping dependencies, flagging risks and identifying mitigation plans
Front and lead MAS regulatory reporting requirements working closely with C-Suite leaders and working teams to ensure regulatory checkpoints are met
Steer management and working teams on strategic, regulatory and near-term goals to ensure overall alignment and timely delivery of key releases
Lead status reporting cadences at organisation-wide level and Board meetings, and actively track key action items to resolution
Evaluate capacity and/or operational gaps and develop resource augmentation strategies as stopgap measure to avoid implications to development
Analyse operational pain points and bottlenecks and recommend process improvements to optimise delivery output
