[What the role is] This traineeship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial management and cost analysis within the public sector. You will be involved in activity-based costing initiatives, budget process improvements, and policy reviews for assets management. Through this role, you will develop competencies in financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
[What you will be working on]

• You will support the implementation and refinement of activity-based costing models to improve cost allocation accuracy and transparency.
• You will assist on budgeting process improvements which will enhance efficiency and also aid the finance team in performing analysis
• You will assist asset verification exercises, and review asset management policies and processes within the organisation.

[What we are looking for]
We are looking for candidates with a degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting or related fields. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with financial modelling, budgeting, or cost analysis through internships, academic projects, or relevant coursework would be advantageous. We value candidates who demonstrate attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
