The purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive financial accounting support for three entities based in Singapore, ensuring the timely delivery of audited financial statements. Additionally, the role involves offering broader financial accounting assistance to teams across the Asia Pacific region and the Arup Group as neededThe Opportunity

• Preparation of statutory packs and tax packs for both local reporting and group consolidations for multiple entities.
• Working with the Accounting Team Leader to engage with the local and group auditors to deliver audited financial statements on time.
• Perform a monthly review of general ledger for assigned entities.
• Secondary review of shared service centre reconciliations and support to resolve reconciling items.
• Providing support to the wider Singapore finance team and Singapore business as a whole on financial accounting matters (e.g. bid support, bonds, insurance etc).

• Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting or similar area.
• Qualified or final stages of studying for a professional qualification.
• Relevant industry experience in a professional service / consulting business environment would be advantageous.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Knowledge of JD Edwards would be desirable.
