We are seeking an analytical and business-minded

Financial Analyst

to serve as a key partner to commercial and operational teams. This role bridges financial strategy and business execution, driving profitability, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

About the Role

As part of the Finance team, you will provide forward-looking analysis, build financial models, and translate performance metrics into actionable insights. You'll collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to shape business strategies, monitor performance, and support sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Insights

Deliver in-depth financial analysis on sales performance, pricing trends, and market dynamics. Identify key performance drivers and provide recommendations to enhance profitability and efficiency. Build and maintain dynamic financial models to support strategic initiatives.

Business Partnering & Decision Support

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with commercial strategies. Provide clear, actionable insights to guide business decisions, pricing strategies, and cost optimisation initiatives. Support commercial and strategic projects through scenario modelling, risk assessment, and investment appraisals.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Management

Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes to ensure alignment with business objectives. Conduct variance analysis and present insights to management for course correction. Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure commercial performance and identify improvement opportunities.

Strategic & Commercial Projects

Support business expansion and M&A activities through financial due diligence, valuation analysis, and integration planning. Collaborate with regional teams to share and implement best practices in commercial finance management. Drive continuous optimisation of cost structures and resource allocation.

Governance & Compliance

Ensure adherence to internal control policies, financial procedures, and external regulatory standards. Partner with internal and external auditors during reviews to uphold strong financial governance.

Process Improvement & Automation

Champion the use of digital tools and automation to improve financial reporting and analytics. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency in financial operations.

Requirements

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional qualification (CPA/ACCA/CA) preferred. Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in commercial or business finance roles, ideally within the FMCG, consumer sectors. Strong analytical mindset with proven experience in financial modelling, forecasting, and performance tracking. Skilled communicator who can translate data into strategic recommendations for non-finance stakeholders. Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
