Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support financial reporting, analysis and planning process for MSD APJ Service Business. Manage and drive FP&A workstreams, including forecast and budgeting process, business reviews and reporting.
  • Support consolidation and reporting for APJ Service business. Provide analytics that allow Service teams to drive topline and manage Service margins.
  • Analyse business performance against key metrics to identify pertinent financial insights and drive required actions.
  • Proactively drive continuous improvement in processes, analytics and reporting to better support the business. Identify opportunities to streamline routine analysis, seeking to create leverage through automation and developing business intelligence capability.
  • Build dashboards and support the centralized reporting function (preparation of standardized reports such as WIP Aging, Engineer Utilization and Install Base Analysis).
  • Coordinate and consolidate Annual Operating Plan to ensure deliverables and timelines are met. Build templates for planning, reconciliation, review and analysis.
  • Forecast and budget uploads into system.
  • Ad-hoc analysis, financial modeling, consolidation or related duties as required.
Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
  • At least 3 years experience, preferably in Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Self-motivated, hands-on and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess strong communication skills and able to navigate complex matrix environment.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail, meticulous and proficient in Excel.
  • Keen learner and can quickly learn ERP systems usage and navigation.
