About the Financial Analyst Role:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting various responsibilities and functions of the finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse forecast, budget and actual
- Assist in monthly/quarterly reporting with commentary and analysis on key trends
- Be the primary support to the controller in monthly forecasting and annual budget process
- Be responsible for sales reporting, margin variance analysis and business controlling reports to provide insights to business leaders
- Develop and generate business performance reports for decision making
- Support in inventory ageing review and credit review of customers
- Assist in process optimisation and system improvements through digitalisation
- Be involved in any non-routine projects and reporting requirement when necessary
- Degree in accounting/finance with three years of relevant experience
- Prior experience in financial analysis with knowledge of IFRS/SFRS and its application is highly advantageous
- Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
- Meticulous, highly reliable and a motivated team player
- Good communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced working environment and meet the given deadlines
