Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Financial Analyst located in DUO Tower, Singapore through February 3, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).

We expect to hire and develop a finance practitioner that has both the aptitude and attitude to excel and can serve a multitude of roles through their Chevron career\xe2\x80\x94across our Downstream, Midstream & Chemicals businesses. Depending on the candidature, he/she may be placed in and rotated through any of these departments as their first assignment with Chevron. Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: Business Planning, Financial Reporting & Analysis:

• Develops Business Plan leveraging key assumptions and competitive targets; aligns with leadership team on the proposed business plan
• Partners business functions in understanding financial performance and highlighting key performance variances as well as watchpoints
• Prepares financial and management reports in alignment with both statutory and management requirements
• Ensures adequate controls are in place for both integrity of financial numbers and business processes including SOX controls
• Streamlines and simplifying current processes and data management practices by leveraging digital technology
• Coordinates benchmarking activities as required
• Coordinates local statutory audits for Singapore group of companies
• Other responsibilities and projects as may be assigned from time to time

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Accountancy, Business or equivalent
• Between 3 to 5 years + of experience in a similar capacity or external audit environment with a Big 4 company
• Strong accounting knowledge (U.S. GAAP is a plus) and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with different stakeholders
• Experience using tools such as MS Power BI and Power Apps to solve business problems
• Meticulous, highly reliable, and motivated team player with good follow through and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure in meeting tight deadlines

Selected candidate will be based in Singapore under the local payroll system and benefits Chevron participates in E-Verify in certain locations as required by law.
