The Opportunity

Accounts Receivable (AR) Management:

  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable of Asia customers.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external customers to ensure timely and accurate collection of payments.
  • Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoicing and payments.
Sell-Out Reporting:
  • Generate regular Tableau sell-out reports to track the performance of customers
  • Analyse sales data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can be used to optimize commercial strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and ensure the accuracy of the reports.
Tracking of Marketing Expenses:
  • Monitor and track marketing expenses incurred for various marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain accruals vs actuals reports and coordinate with Accounts Payable in terms of actual spending
  • Assist in budget planning and forecasting for advertising and marketing activities.
Master Data Management:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date master data related to prices and COGS
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple systems and platforms.
  • Collaborate with IT and data management teams to implement and improve data management processes.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
  • Analyse financial data, including sales figures, expenses, and profitability, to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct variance analysis to assess deviations from budget and forecast and provide insights on potential risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations highlighting key financial metrics and insights.
  • Provide recommendations and insights to support strategic decision-making by senior management.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts, aligned with business objectives and market conditions.
  • Monitor budget performance throughout the year, identify areas of concern or potential cost savings, and provide recommendations for budget adjustments.
Business Partnering and Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and supply chain, to gather relevant data and insights.
  • Provide financial expertise and guidance to support strategic initiatives and business planning processes.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, providing financial analysis and recommendations to drive growth and profitability.
The Skills you will bring to the team
  • Bachelor\'s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A master\'s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst in the consumer goods industry or from Big 4 audit firms
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis techniques, budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and advanced Excel skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP and systems such as TPM (Trade Promotion Management) and Tableau
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
