Your profile

• Diploma/ Degree in Business Administration, Finance/Controlling and / or Accounting
• Work experience 2-5 years
• Flexible and open mined
• Team player with great communication skills
• SAP knowledge would be preferable

Your responsibilities

• Commercial support for Spare parts and component repairs and responsible for the financials and work with the Customer service representatives on customer offers
• For Modernizations and Upgrades (M&U) Projects, together with the Project Manager (PM), ensures the accuracy of project books and records, including recording and reporting of such transactions in the relevant systems eg SAP
• Perform various general ledger activities including project related journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Support of Internal and External Audits as required.
• Prepares commercial documentation for regular project status meetings and ensures the accuracy of the commercial project data
• Responsible for updating the monthly project forecast and communicate risks and opportunities regarding financial impacts.
• Provides regular business reports, with respect to overall performance, and recommends actions to accountable management including but not limited to preparation and analysis of project cash flow forecasts and other project reports such as Order on Hand Reporting, Quarterly Financial Project Review, Currency Risk Exposure, OCC reporting & analysis, Project Changes on Plan Revenue & Plan Cost.
• Hedging - treasury dealings for buy/sell of foreign currency cash flows.
• Carries out ad-hoc analyses and profitability calculations.
• Ensures compliance with Siemens FRG (Financial Reporting Guidelines) and local GAAP requirements.
• Responsible for month-end and quarterly closing.
• Procurement and logistic activities in cooperation with project managers in negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Execution of the commercial part of orders such as commercial terms and conditions of contracts, bank guarantee, insurance, etc.
• Process and handle customer invoicing of milestones /invoicing according to contract agreement.
• Process and handles execution of claims from consortium partners and affiliates as per agreement.
• Accounts receivable management: Follow up of due / overdue invoices with customers.
• Handles/coordinates with Tax Dept local tax compliance such as withholding tax and goods/service tax.
