Responsibilities
Responsible for financial reporting, operational/transactional accounting, and closing of general ledger within timelines.
Assist in the preparation of the local financial statements of the digital bank.
Prepare MAS monthly/quarterly/annual returns (MAS 610, MAS 649, MAS 637, Quarterly Income & expenditure, etc.), and regulatory ratio monitoring.
Participate in user acceptance testing in relation to new system implementation, system upgrades and process automation.
Perform periodic reviews of MAS reporting procedure manuals.
Assist in Management Reporting, budgeting/forecasting, tax reporting, etc., where required.
Assist with ad-hoc requests and projects where required.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in MAS reporting (MAS610, MAS649, MAS 637, Quarterly Income & expenditure, etc.) and/or financial reporting within the banking industry.
Candidates from Big 4 accounting firms specializing in audit of banks are welcomed to apply.
Good understanding of financial accounting/reporting and MAS reporting requirements applicable to the banking industry.
Good knowledge of commercial banking products.
