Financial Control And Change Associate
Job Description
This role is a fantastic opportunity in that it incorporates both financial control and accounting as well as change management with a focus on business process automation, system integration and the re-engineering of business operating models.
Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of the management accounts, financial statements and regulatory reporting
+ Oversee financial control as well as managing budgets and forecasts, monitoring actual spend against the budget identifying any variances
+ Ensure compliance with regulatory framework
+ Managing the audit process as well as being the main point of contact for external auditors
+ Incorporating environment, social and governance (ESG) considerations into financial strategies and reporting
Leveraging data and technology to lead system and data transformation projects
Develop and enhance product control frameworks, accounting policies and governance models
Streamline management reporting and workflow operations to enhance efficiency and increase automation
Relevant BSc degree with a proven strong academic background required CA or CPA Accounting qualified with 3-7 years + post qualification experience in accounting, product control or financial operations with regulatory and reporting exposure Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, IAS) Prior project experience ideally with keen interest in growing change management skills Strong analytical and interpersonal skills as well as a track record of interacting with internal and external stakeholders at all levels Ability to challenge efficiency and drive forward on change and innovation of processes * Proficient in Bloomberg, Finance systems, Excel modelling and Python would also be highly regarded
