Role Type: Full Time, Permanent

This role is part of the financial control team for Singapore reporting to the Financial Controller, Singapore. The financial control team is responsible for the accurate and timely submission of financial reporting, and ensuring the maintenance of supporting frameworks, processes and controls to support this reporting.

The role is part of the Financial Control (FC) community of practice, with the principal accountabilities being:
  • Ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Formulation, implementation and monitoring of the Group's accounting policies and internal control frameworks
  • Integrity of the numbers by delivering accurate, reliable and timely financial information
  • Driving the Finance of the Future simplification agenda, ensuring consistency with objectives and a focus on continuous improvement
  • Embedding a strong governance culture
About You

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
  • Tertiary qualification and a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) / Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) recognised in Singapore
  • Extensive experience in statutory, regulatory or risk roles within the region
  • Previous experience in audit firms will have an added advantage
  • Strong initiative and proactive attitude to drive a continuous improvement culture in our processes and procedures
