The Company
Our client is a renowned international law firm with a global presence and a reputation for excellence. As part of their strategic expansion in Asia, they are seeking a Financial Controller to join their dynamic team in Singapore.
The Role
This is a pivotal leadership role reporting directly to the CFO for Asia and Middle East, offering the opportunity to shape financial strategy and operations across the region.
You will lead the finance function for the Singapore office and provide management support to finance teams across SEA. This role is responsible for driving financial and commercial management, ensuring robust internal controls, statutory compliance, and delivering insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making. You will manage a team and collaborate closely with regional and global stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee full-spectrum finance operations, including statutory compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Drive financial strategy, planning, and performance management across SEA offices.
• Act as a trusted advisor to partners and senior management, providing commercial insights and influencing strategic decisions.
• Lead and develop the finance team, fostering best practices and operational excellence.
• Support regional initiatives and system transformation projects to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Your Profile
As the successful candidate, you will possess a degree in Accountancy or ACCA with the following relevant experience:

• CPA/CA qualified with at least 15 years of experience in a full-spectrum finance role within an MNC environment.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Industry exposure in legal, professional services, media, technology, or similar sectors preferred.
• Regional experience across Asia highly advantageous.
• Strong track record in driving system transformation projects.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills with strong influencing ability.
• Hands-on, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
