Financial Controller
Job Description
:The CompanyOur client is a SGX main board listed company within the Real Estate industry and they are seeking a Financial Controller to lead their expansion plans across the region.The RoleReporting to the Finance Director, you will lead a team in overseeing the full spectrum of finance and accounting for Singapore including reporting, closing, SGX reporting, management reporting, budget and forecast, consolidation, treasury management (eg. Financing/refinancing hedging, etc) as well as liaising with external auditors and tax agents.This is a highly visible role within the organization and you will have the opportunity to support business development, investment as well as M&A activities via involvement in tax structuring, financial modelling, etc.Your ProfileAs the successful candidate, you will possess a degree in accountancy or ACCA with the following relevant experience
- Chartered Accountant or CPA qualified with at least 10 to 15 years of experience within a REIT or SGX Mainboard listed environment
- Experience in SGX reporting, tax structuring, treasury, financing and refinancing, interest rates and hedging
- Proven managerial experience
- Prior experience in a Big 4 audit firm will be ideal but not a must
- Ability to be hands-on and meticulous,
- Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to engage with the senior management team and board will be essential
