The Role
We are looking for an experienced Director of Finance and Accounting to oversee its financial operations and contribute to strategic decision-making across the business. This position is based in Singapore and involves managing a regional finance team and working with investment entities in Asia. Key responsibilities include financial reporting, budgeting, audit, treasury, and maintaining strong relationships with senior leadership, investors, and operational partners.
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations, reporting, audits, budgeting, and cash flow management.
• Ensure compliance and governance by managing internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
• Manage investor capital activities, fund flows, and credit facility administration.
• Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and automation initiatives.
• Support portfolio performance monitoring, valuation, and financial analysis.
• Work closely with operational partners on financial reporting and capital activities.
• Lead interactions with external advisors, including auditors and tax consultants.
• Mentor, develop, and manage the internal finance team.
• Oversee special projects and improvement initiatives as needed.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, supported by a professional certification (such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• 15-20 years of relevant experience, including 8+ years in senior finance leadership, ideally in private equity or real estate investment management.
• Deep understanding of accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP), financial controls, and taxation.
• Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, fund operations, and risk management.
• Strong leadership, analytical abilities, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willing to take a hands-on approach in a lean, institutional environment with great attention to detail.
• Results-driven with a focus on achieving key metrics and objectives.
• Excellent time management skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Leads by example, demonstrating integrity, ethics, and dependability.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; confident when presenting findings.
• Strategic thinker with creative problem-solving capabilities and effective planning skills.
• Able to perform under pressure and manage cross-cultural teams with minimal supervision.
