We invite highly motivated, dynamic professionals to join our fast growing financial services consulting practice in Singapore to expand their financial services industry knowledge and skills. The KPMG financial services advisory team supports the various financial sectors in managing their day-to-day business challenges and developments. We support our financial services clients with a diverse range of consulting projects that include:

• Business growth (e.g. market entry, customer insights, merger, and acquisitions support)
• Operational process improvement across sector value chains
• Organisation-wide functional (re)design
• Digital and technology enablement
• Environmental, Social and Governance transformation
• Governance, Risk and Compliance design, remediation and transformation
• Front to back transformation
• Programme management support

You will be playing a crucial role in helping to drive KPMG's global innovation agenda for Financial Services and will be part of a dynamic team culture.The following key activities include:

• Helping our clients determine their new business models, products, platforms, and value creating activities to deliver their next set of revenue streams
• Developing market entry strategies to accelerate and derisk new business ventures
• Creating strategies, plans and initiatives that help markets and institutions scale new ecosystems that have financial services at the heart
• Reviewing and innovating the financial market infrastructure necessary to deliver the next generation of financial services, particularly in payments, digital currencies and assets, and data assets
• Working with challenger ecosystems across founders, hyperscalers, regulators or investors to help scale fintech businesses
• Working with incumbent financial institutions to respond to challengers by devising offensive and defensive innovation strategies

\xe2\xa0\x80The ideal candidate should possess:

• At least 10 years of experience within financial services consulting or blended with industry experience at a top tier fintech, wholesale bank, investor, new business venture or crypto businesses
• Deep expertise in financial services strategy development and execution
• Hands on knowledge of fintech businesses and start-up/ scale-up technology-based businesses
• Deep expertise in platform-based business models, venture building or e-commerce
• Strong knowledge of central bank digital currencies, tokenisation, and financial services blockchain use cases
• Understand how to manage change within large financial institutions, and be familiar with scalable agile, systems and design thinking
• Possess strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Possess a track record of sales, origination, and business development - this is an essential skillset
